Kitgum District Multi-Hazard Contingency Plan
In fulfilment of its mandate of Coordinating Disaster Management and related activities in the District, Kitgum District Local Government in collaboration with World Vision and Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), has developed the District Contingency Plan (DCP) for 2025/262029/30. The contingency plan has been developed to provide basis for coordination of humanitarian response in the event of catastrophic/major disaster in the district. The overall Goal of the plan is ‘To improve on the community copying mechanism from the negative impacts of disasters in the district’.
